In a prayer to the Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ said, "Thy word is truth" (John 17:17). The Bible is God's word, and is therefore the absolute truth. In John 8:31-32 Jesus said, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." We invite you to freedom. Look up the Bible verses referenced after the following statements, to see that the statements are true.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The vast majority of the extant (not extinct or destroyed) Greek New Testament manuscripts are of the original text, which is called the Textus Receptus, meaning Received Text. Virtually all the writing of the early church fathers quote from the Textus Receptus which was the only New Testament accepted by the early church. The King James Version of 1611 is the only commonly available English translation of the Textus Receptus. All the recent translations, including the New International Version, Revised Standard Version, Good News For Modern Man, etc., are from the corrupted Sinaitic and Vaticanius manuscripts, which between them changed the original text in over five thousand places. So to base your life on the real Bible, use only the Textus Receptus or a translation from it such as the King James Version of 1611.
